As you may have noticed on the home page we've now raised over £6000!!!!!!!

Our buffs are selling fast, still got some left so if you would like to buy one hurry here.
They are appearing on he new products page in this months LROi magazine so we hope they will sell out fast!

Its under 2 weeks till the Mac now. Been tidying up a few things on the car and new clutch master and slave cylinders have been fitted this week. Some of the electrics have been tidied up and I've been hiding spares and tools below the front seats.

Kit is starting to pile up in the spare bedroom and I'll be working out the best way to pack it all into the boxes (see below) so its secure and easily accessed for the event.

The 110 was put to good use today. Kathy my wife teaches P1 and as part of their new "active learning" tomorrow they will be building "dens". So the recovery kit was put to use ie cutting down branches with the bow saw then filling the back of the 110 with them. Definitely a utility vehicle! Tell the anti 4x4 brigade that!

Hoping my rock sliders arrive this week, been 3 months since they were ordered! Promised them for tomorrow by the company otherwise I'll be looking a refund and going elsewhere!

Changed the engine oil today. Also the rotor and full flow oil filters.
I tend to change these at about half Land Rovers recommended service intervals, the Td5 likes its oil changed frequently! Did the fuel filter at the same time.

Its nearly ready for the Mac now! Just waiting on my rock sliders to arrive!

Weekend in Aviemore was great, no off-road action, well apart from on the mountain bikes!

Saturday the Wolftrax trails at Laggan, some excellent stuff there, the black trail which I didn't ride has some of the most technical trails in the country. Sunday a more relaxed jaunt around the singletrack in Rothiemurchus.

The new boxes were great for putting all the gear in. Easily lifted out of the back of the car and kept everything well organised.

I've also attached a cargo net to the roof. This was very handy for putting coats in. It gets in the way of the bikes a bit though. I think I'll get another for our summer camping trip in the Pyrenees as the bikes will most likely be on the roof.

New stickers put on the 110 today. Many thanks to our new sponsors Vango.

Off to Aviemore for the weekend with the Team Mud mountain biking division! Will be a good test run for some new storage ideas for the back of the 110.
