Winner of a classic car for a weekend!
Brian Stark has won a weekends use of a classic Porsche donated by Gran Turismo Classic Car Hire.
Runners up prizes of family passes to Loudoun Castle went to Keith McCourt and Jane Simpson
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and thanks to Gran Turismo Classic car hire and Loudoun Castle for providing the prizes.
The prize is a weekends hire of either a Porsche Boxster or a classic 911
For identification purposes a passport and proof of address (such as a utility bill) will be required, and for insurance purposes you should:
- be over 25 years of age and have held a full licence for more than 24 months
- not have been involved in more than one accident in the past three years
- have a clean driving licence (minor endorsements accepted)
Insurance is fully comprehensive
There is an excess of £1000 which the hirer is responsible for in the event of damage to the car, although this can be reduced to £250 by taking the collision damage waiver at £14 per day or £70 per week
Excess for the Porsche, TVR and Lotus is £1500 which can be reduced to £500 by taking the collision damage waiver at £18 per day
There is a mileage allowance of 100 miles per day / 700 miles per week, excess being charged at 60 pence per mile
If the car booked is unavailable for any reason, a similar vehicle will be substituted
The cars are only available to people living in the English Lake District, the Newcastle area, or Scotland
No cash alternative is available
